We love them as they come, with moss still slinging on and the axe marks written all over them, but for more polished parties we offer sanded and waxed versions too.

Mostly nipped from silver birch trees, our wood slices have beautiful exterior bark that shimmers beautifully in sunshine and candlelight, and the moss gives an injection of colour for a pretty little pop.

Wood slices sizes

Thanks to living in Scotland and happily having a garden that constantly needs clipping, we can cut log slices to order. If you want them off the rack (or off the trunk) then we do three regular sizes, small tree slices, medium tree trunk slices and large wood slices. Because of the organic nature of the material no two wood rounds are the same, but as a rough outline:

• Small measures between 6-8 inches across
• Medium measure between 10-15 inches across
• Large measure between 20-25 inches across
