Dried cotton stems are a wonderful way to inject a little slice of calm into your life thanks to their soft white look that complements almost any colour scheme.

Our natural dried cotton stems come with thick, tough stems that ensure each piece lasts for years with the right care, while the fluffy cotton wool-like tufts add a really soft edge. We recommend our dried cotton is kept nice and dry, so make sure not to add any water to the vase or receptacle you choose to display yours in, and we also think they’re best kept away from bathrooms thanks to the damp that can be gathered in their gills from hot steam showers and warm baths.

While our real dried cotton stems are beautiful at any time of the year, we especially love them at Christmas, when they can bring a snowy feel to any room. You could even make them into a contemporary Christmas display by hanging ornaments off the branches. While we were unable to source cotton grown in the UK (these guys like lots of sunshine, which sadly we’re lacking a bit of over in these parts) we have done our best to make sure each piece is natural and undyed, so that they’re as pare back as they can be.

You can display cotton stems in plenty of different ways, but we always think straightforward is best. Group them in a big bunch and pop them in your favourite piece of ceramic ware to show them off in all their simplicity. We like the impact something grouped in one variety makes.
