Introducing The Bloom Bunch

Our flower subscription is one with a difference, as each month you’ll receive the most beautiful seasonal flowers hand-selected just for you.

The Bloom Bunch flower subscription service allows you to take some time out of your busy month to get creative and learn a new skill. In your monthly box – which will arrive on the last Friday of the month – you will receive a selection of foliage and flowers simply wrapped ready for you to arrange. The next step is up to you, either bunch them up in a classic look and pop them in your favourite vase, or join us for our online tutorial where we show you a different flower arranging technique each month.

Where possible we will always source British flowers, but this isn’t always manageable. We think – when they’re in season – they’re the best of the best and can’t be beaten but throughout the winter and early spring they can be in short supply. We always want to be clear with our messaging so that you know exactly what you’re buying, so it’s worth noting that for some of the year you will receive flowers that have been imported. These are no less beautiful, but they do have to hop on a boat or a plane to get to us.

Because first and foremost we’re wedding florists, we are self-confessed flower snobs. We have no interest in packing bunches with loads of cheap fillers you can find in the supermarket, and instead focus on hero stems that pack real punch. In the summer that means you’re likely to find scented garden roses (you definitely can’t get these guys in Tesco), fragrant sweet peas or flamboyant cosmos; while in spring you might find ruffled peonies or ranunculus among other sweethearts of the seasons. Whatever the month we’re confident that you’ll love your new flower friends.

Who is The Bloom Bunch good for?

The Bloom Bunch is perfect for anyone who likes pretty things, or the nature or craft enthusiast in your life. Not only will you (or they) get some lovely flowers and foliage to perk up your home each and every month, you’ll also be shown how to make the most of them – learning a new skill you can use time and time again. We think this is great as a self-love gift on payday, but signing someone up to The Bloom Bunch also makes the perfect birthday gift, wedding treat or anniversary present. The occasions for giving someone access to our exclusive club are literally endless and just know that we’ll give them a warm welcome.

Can I buy this as a gift?

Yes, we can send a digital gift card to your chosen recipient. Please just let us know at checkout, leaving details of who to send a note to. Or, if you prefer, you can gift your loved one with one of our vouchers and then they can choose to spend that on anything they like from our entire range.

What’s in the box?

Each month you’ll get a packed box of full-length stems, which you can either pop straight into a vase, or use for one of the following tutorials.

  • At least one bunch of seasonal greenery

  • Mixed, fresh flowers

  • Any additional bits you might need for the monthly tutorials, like tape or wire

How much does it cost to be part of The Bloom Bunch?

Being part of the gang costs £45 per month and includes postage. If you prefer you can upgrade your account to a luxury one and you will receive twice the blooms for £65. If you’d prefer a greenery only option then you’ll receive a lovely bunch of foliage for £35 which you can arrange in a whole load of ways (and we’ll show you how!).

What does the 2021 calendar look like?

We’re glad you asked. Each month we’re going to be showing you how to put those flower pals to good use and arrange them in a pretty way. Here’s what we’re thinking so far (but we’re also two tiny humans in this big world, and things change, so there may be some alterations as we go along!). We’d also love to hear from you if you have anything you think we could cover.

March: With this month’s flowers we’ll show you how to make a hand-tied bouquet, perfect for Mother’s Day. We’ve organised to have this first subscription delivered early, on the 12th Feb. This means you can send them straight to your mum or make a bouquet yourself to gift to her on Sunday.
April: In April we’ll show you how beautiful simple arrangements can be, looking at bud vases and breaking up your blooms. This is the perfect to spread the Bank Holiday joy in May, but if you’d prefer you can also just display your flowers in a vase of course.
May: Flower crowns to help celebrate the summer solstice. Not a flower crown person? Any little monkeys in your life might like one, or else you can choose to keep your gorgeous late spring blooms in their pure form and pop them around your house in your favourite vases.
June: June is our favourite flower month, and we’ll be sending you a bunch of peonies to simply arrange yourself. We think these guys are best suited to a simple approach. If you’re an OG Bloom Buncher you might remember a promise of floral candlesticks, but we switched to peonies after countless requests!
July: DIY wedding bouquets, we want to show you how we gather the most perfect petals for a celebration of love. This isn’t just for brides and grooms, this is a beautiful way to display your flowers as a really curated bunch, which can then go in a vase in your home.
August: Wearable flowers, in August we’ll be tackling the little perfect buttonholes and corsages to wear to summer weddings (even if they’re virtual!). This requires just a few of your flowers - so the rest of them are to do what you want with - but it’s a fun skill to learn and one you can use again and again.
September: In September we’ll be making a dried flower wreath kit to give your home an autumnal touch. This everlasting display looks gorgeous over a bed or on your front door, if it’s covered and away from rain. You can see an example here.
October: In October we want to show you how to make foliage garlanding, perfect for celebration tables, mantle pieces and more. This month’s box will include lots of amazing textural foliage and some hardy long-lasting flowers which you can either pop in a vase to enjoy or include in your garland.
November: Christmas wreaths, of course! We couldn’t let November come and go without spreading a little festive cheer. This month we’ll send you everything you need to make a beautiful eucalyptus Christmas wreath. These are usually £55, so you’ll be getting yours at a discount for being in the gang.
December: For December we’re getting our hands on flower bowls or mini urns (you can use any bowl you have!). Here we’ll show you how to make little displays for your dining table, which will make any Christmas or NYE celebration extra special. If you’d prefer - as ever - you can skip the tutorial and enjoy you bunch of seasonal blooms in a vase.

Let’s talk logistics

They might not be the most exciting thing, but boy are they essential to know. Your parcel will be dropped at your door by our carbon-neutral courier on the last Friday of the month (except for our March boxes - which will be sent to arrive on the 12th March, in time for Mother’s Day). You’ll get a tracking number emailed to you to follow. The tutorials will be available on social media, and we’ll pop you over the link if you can’t find it.

What’s the catch?

There isn’t one, you’re free to do what you wish in The Bloom Bunch. If you want to dip in and out of the tutorials but always receive the flowers, that’s cool. If you’d like to just buy one box as a gift, then that’s perfect too. We won’t hold you to a monthly subscription forever and ever, you can cancel any time.
